Product Categories

Six product types. Each category page lists the products we have reviewed in it, together with the criteria we applied to that kind of label. Start here when you know the product type but not the brand.

The checks that apply across every category (full ingredient disclosure first among them) are set out in how we verify products.

How we organize categories

A category groups products by what they are, not by what they claim to do, so every product in one is judged against the same label. Each category page carries the criteria for that product type followed by the reviews that met them. Where a check applies to every product we look at, it is stated once on our evaluation methodology rather than repeated on all six pages.
